PENSACOLA BEACH, FLORIDA - Four homes – three in Pensacola, Fla., and one near Savannah, Ga. – sold for a combined $2.84 million in a pair of auctions held March 5 and March 7. The bank-ordered auctions attracted bidders from ten different states with the buyers coming from as far away as Louisiana, Maryland, Montana and Mississippi according to Warren Ward, president of Albert Burney Auction Company, which managed the sales.

Thirteen bidders gathered on the deck of the 24-room Golden Trout Resort for the auction, with Albert Burney Auction Company managing the sale. After a prolonged bidding contest, the property went to Tice Development LLC, of Bakersfield, Calif., which purchased the entire property.
